Last Wednesday, a group of our senior soccer players from Years 10, 11, and 12 headed off to Mullumbimby High School for a friendly match. During the first 20 minutes of the game, the score was 2-0 in favour of Mullum High. However, our team did not give up hope, and over the next hour, they fought back with goal after goal. The final score was Shearwater 5, Mullum High 2!

A huge congratulations to all the team members for their great sportsmanship, and a special shoutout to the enthusiastic adults who trained them in the lead-up to the game. Lee Scriven, the head coach, Tom O’Brien, the team manager, and assistant coaches James, Justin, Nkem, and Dallas. Well done everyone!
