PAYING FEES
Joining the Shearwater community is a commitment to the wellbeing of our School. Reliable income from fees is an essential part of this. Fees, levies and charges are invoiced at the beginning of each term or upon enrolment, and invoices are emailed at the start of each new term. Fees are payable by fortnightly deduction from a bank account or credit card.

ANNUAL LEVIES AND CHARGES
In addition to the Tuition Fees above, other standard charges are billed annually.
Textbook Deposit
The textbook deposit is returned to families upon the return of all loaned textbooks to the School. If a textbook is damaged or lost, the replacement value is deducted from the amount to be returned, with amounts above the deposit being added to the fee account.

Accident insurance cover
$22 per child per annum or part thereof (incl GST). Details of cover and claim forms are available from the School.
Annual Building Maintenance Fee
$400 per family towards the maintenance and upkeep of the School buildings, grounds, play and sporting facilities.
TUITION FEES REBATE
Preschool fees are fully funded by the NSW Government for families that complete the Start Strong Fee Relief Declaration form and request the rebate be applied to Little Shearwater Preschool. Families with children enrolled at more than one community preschool or long day care service can only receive the rebate from one service. If the declaration is not completed and returned to the School, full fees are payable by families.
KINDERGARTEN TO YEAR 12
Against Tuition Fees only. For concurrent enrolments only
15% Discount per term for the second child
30% Discount per term for the third child
75% Discount per term for the fourth child and subsequent children
WITHDRAWING YOUR CHILD
Parents must give a minimum of one school term’s notice, via a Student Exit Form, or incur the equivalent amount of the tuition component, in lieu of notice. If a student is absent from School for any reason, fees are payable in full.
