Everyone in the Shearwater community is expected to abide by the School’s policies. These are created in order that students can experience a safe and caring environment that supports their resilience and achievement. Additionally, policies serve to ensure best practice in the day-to-day management of the School.

Each policy outlines clear structures and strategies for all to follow. It is through these policies that the School models and teaches positive behaviour, relationships and communication.

All of Shearwater’s policies are ratified by the Board and reviewed over a five-year cycle. Shearwater’s Annual Report provides an overview of key policies. Please contact the Office if you wish to see a particular policy not available here.
